Jharkhand: 3 JPSC members step down as student protests continue; inquiry committee announced
Amidst ongoing student demonstrations in Jharkhand, which have now reached their 16th day, three members of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission submitted their resignations on Sunday. Minister Sudivya Kumar announced that the Hemant Soren administration intends to establish a committee, led by a retired High Court judge, to investigate the alleged irregularities in the JSSC-CGL examination. Additionally, a separate group comprising experts from IIT, IIM, and XLRI will be set up to propose necessary improvements to the examination process.
