Jet fuel rates increased again, now double the cost seen before the Iran conflict

Flying is set to become more expensive as the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) for domestic carriers saw a 5.46% increase on Tuesday. This marks the second month in a row that rates have climbed, with jet fuel rising by ₹6.28 to reach ₹121.28 per litre, up from ₹115. This current price reflects a jump of roughly 100.5% compared to the pre-Iran war rate of about ₹60.5 per litre.
