ISRO's 'Bahubali' rocket stage returns to Earth after nine months
ISRO has confirmed that the upper stage, known as C25, of India’s LVM3 rocket re-entered the atmosphere on July 30. The rocket had originally launched from Sriharikota in November 2025. This 'Bahubali rocket' was responsible for placing the CMS-03 communication satellite—the heaviest payload ever carried by the vehicle—into orbit. An adapted version of this rocket is also slated to be used for India's upcoming Gaganyaan mission, which aims to send humans into space.
