Iran sends funeral invitations to BJP and Congress leaders for late Supreme Leader Khamenei
Iran has officially invited top representatives from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress party to participate in the state funeral ceremonies for former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The invitations were issued to BJP National President Nitin Nabin, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, and Salman Khurshid, who chairs the foreign affairs department for Congress. Ali Khamenei died following joint US-Israeli military strikes that took place in February.
