Ali Abdollahi has been named the Chief of Staff for the Iranian Armed Forces, Ahmad Vahidi has taken over as the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, and Hojjatoleslam Hossein Taeb has been designated to lead the Basij paramilitary organization.
