Media outlets in Iran have released footage showing downed US MQ-9 Reaper and Israeli Hermes 900 drones. According to Tehran, the unmanned aerial vehicles were brought down by its newly developed air defence system. Both of these highly advanced, long-endurance drones are designed for surveillance operations and precision strikes. Previously, Iran had announced that its new "Arash-e Kamangir" system successfully intercepted an enemy drone over the Persian Gulf.
