Iran asks residents to cut power usage following US strikes
According to an AP report, Iran's Energy Ministry has requested that people living in southern regions reduce their electricity consumption. The ministry noted that these areas are dealing with intense heat and damage to power facilities caused by US strikes. This appeal follows reports that Iran's power grid has seen a drop of 4,200 megawatts in capacity because of the attacks. Previously, US President Donald Trump had warned that he might strike Iranian power stations and bridges.
