Injured sloth bear cub rescued from Madhya Pradesh's Bandhavgarh
A five-month-old female sloth bear cub was saved from the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve's buffer zone in Madhya Pradesh after it was discovered alone and badly hurt. Forest department officials carried out the rescue and transported the cub to the Van Vihar Bear Rescue Facility located in Bhopal. The animal is now receiving expert medical attention to help it recover.
