Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that India has achieved the rank of the world's fourth-largest oil refiner while opening the nation's inaugural greenfield integrated refinery and petrochemical project on Saturday. He highlighted that the United States has not constructed a new refinery in five decades, whereas refining capacity across Europe is on a consistent downward trend. The 9 MMTPA plant was officially launched by the PM in Balotra, Rajasthan.
