Indian-origin pair gifts ₹190 crore to American university for AI institute
Anuradha and Vikas Sinha, a couple of Indian origin, have contributed $20 million (approximately ₹190 crore) to the University of North Texas, where they both studied. The funds will be used to launch a new college dedicated to artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, which will be titled the Anuradha and Vikas Sinha College of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. This follows their 2024 donation that created the Anuradha and Vikas Sinha Department of Data Science.
