Indian High Commission objects to inaccurate map shown at Dhaka event
India has formally protested after a map incorrectly showing Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan was presented during a foreign affairs seminar in Dhaka. Pooja Kumari Jha, the Second Secretary of the Indian High Commission, stated, "The map of India...is incorrect. Jammu and Kashmir is...integral part of India...it's misrepresented." She maintained her stance against the map even after former Bangladeshi diplomat Tariq A. Karim claimed it was intended to be representational.
