India to reach 320 million MT oil refining capacity by 2030: Hardeep Puri
Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri stated that Europe's oil refining capacity is projected to be 75 million metric tons by the year 2030. He further mentioned, "By 2030...[India's] refining capacity...is set to rise to 320 million metric tons." These remarks were made following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inauguration of the country's first greenfield integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Rajasthan on Saturday.
