India responds to Pakistan's Indus Water Treaty threat, demands end to terror support
Following Pakistan minister Musadik Malik's warning to "cut off those hands" attempting to take Pakistan's "share" of water, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India's stance on the Indus Water Treaty remains unchanged. He noted that the treaty is currently in abeyance due to Pakistan's ongoing backing of cross-border terrorism, adding that Pakistan needs to permanently stop supporting such activities.
