India hits back at Birmingham Mayor's comments on Kashmir
India has issued a response to the statement made by Birmingham's Pakistan-born Lord Mayor, Zaker Choudhry, who claimed "Kashmir is ours, Pakistan is ours" during an event last month. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reaffirmed that the entirety of Jammu and Kashmir, along with Ladakh, remains an integral and inseparable part of India. He further noted that India's position regarding Kashmir and its broader policy concerning Pakistan are already clearly established.
