External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar announced that India has sent its fifth plane to Nepal, which includes an 11-person rescue squad and 5.5 tonnes of medical supplies. Additionally, a specialized tunnel rescue unit is currently stationed at hydropower project locations affected by the flash floods of the Bhote Koshi River.
