India calls in Iranian envoy following death of Indian sailor in Hormuz tanker attack
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has summoned Iran’s Deputy Ambassador following the death of an Indian crew member during an Iranian cruise missile strike on two UAE-registered tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The vessels were hit while navigating the southern route of the strait. Additionally, eight other individuals sustained injuries in the incident.
