IMD predicts drier and warmer July for India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that July will likely see less rainfall than normal, with precipitation levels projected at 94% of the long-period average nationwide. Additionally, the weather agency cautioned that many regions across the country should prepare for temperatures higher than the usual range. Notably, this past June ranked as the fifth-driest month since the country started keeping weather records in 1901.
