IMA threatens Maharashtra-wide strike over homeopathy registration
The Maharashtra branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has threatened to halt medical services across the state if the government moves forward with registering homeopaths who have completed a certificate program in Modern Pharmacology. This issue is presently being heard in court. The IMA has further alleged that the state is rushing to finalize these registrations just ahead of the court's upcoming verdict.
