IGP Kiran S named to lead SIT investigating Ayodhya Ram Temple donation case
Following a Supreme Court directive, the Uttar Pradesh government has restructured the Special Investigation Team (SIT) tasked with looking into the reported misappropriation of funds meant for the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Inspector General of the Lucknow range, Kiran S, has been selected to lead the team. Kiran S is an IPS officer from the 2008 batch, UP cadre, originally from Kerala. The investigative panel also includes two other IPS officers: Ayodhya DIG Somen Barma and SSP Gaurav Grover.
