IAF secures 6th spot in world airpower rankings, surpassing China again
The World Directory of Modern Military Aircraft has positioned the Indian Air Force (IAF) as the sixth most powerful air force globally. The IAF sits behind the US Air Force, US Navy, Russian Air Force, US Army, and the US Marines. Meanwhile, China's PLAAF holds the seventh spot, and the Pakistan Air Force is ranked 18th. This marks the fifth consecutive year since 2022 that the IAF has maintained a higher ranking than the PLAAF.
