Huge blaze erupts at sponge factory in Navi Mumbai's Rabale MIDC
A large fire started at a sponge-making facility located in the Rabale MIDC zone of Navi Mumbai on Sunday morning. The Navi Mumbai Fire Department dispatched approximately eight fire engines to the scene to battle the flames. It is believed that the presence of highly flammable polyurethane foam at the site led to the production of heavy smoke. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries, and crews are currently working on extinguishing the fire and cooling down the area.
