A formal request has been submitted to provide stops for three express trains at the Honnavar railway station in Karnataka. MP Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri promised the local residents that he would work toward fulfilling this requirement. In addition, the community asked for a flyover, improvements to the platforms, a new ticket window, upgrades to the railway gate, and an underpass. During his meeting with railway authorities, the MP also reviewed plans for station modernization and the introduction of more train services.
