Himachal's Kareri village receives first HRTC bus service after 79 years
Seventy-nine years post-Independence, the isolated village of Kareri in the Shahpur constituency of Himachal Pradesh has finally received a scheduled HRTC bus service. Shahpur MLA and Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania inaugurated the 28-seater bus route, noting that the initiative was a result of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's recent trip to the Boh Valley. Local residents greeted Pathania warmly and expressed their gratitude for his efforts in launching the transport service.
