Himachal Pradesh: 150 schools lack teachers, 3,500 run with just one
Education Minister Rohit Thakur revealed in the Assembly on Wednesday that 150 schools across Himachal Pradesh are currently functioning without any teachers. Additionally, 3,500 schools in the state are operating with only a single teacher. The minister provided these figures while addressing a query from BJP MLA Reena Kashyap regarding the teacher shortage in her area. During the session, Kashyap noted that some parents have been contributing their own funds to employ teachers for their children.
