Haryana government grants job security to sanitation staff
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has declared that municipal sanitation workers will now fall under the Haryana Contractual Employees (Service Security) Act, 2024. This move guarantees them job stability until they reach the age of 60. Employees who have completed over a decade of service are set to receive a monthly salary of ₹25,560. Additionally, the package includes perks such as gratuity, maternity leave, a ₹2,000 risk allowance, and salary adjustments for dearness allowance twice every year.
