Hackers take ₹3,000 crore in Bitcoin from payment platform, promise to return funds post-patch
A group claiming to be white-hat hackers has siphoned off nearly 4,000 out of 4,200 Bitcoins belonging to the Liquid Network, which operates as a Bitcoin-focused settlement and payments system. The individuals reportedly contacted the network, stating they intend to send back the Bitcoin—valued at approximately $320 million or ₹3,000 crore—as soon as a specific security flaw is resolved.
