Govt exercises full greenshoe option as Hindustan Copper OFS gets oversubscribed
The Offer for Sale (OFS) of Hindustan Copper Ltd received oversubscription on both days of the bidding, prompting the government to use its complete 3% greenshoe option, according to the Secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management. Consequently, the total stake sale reached 6%, which is worth approximately ₹2,982 crore based on the floor price of ₹514 per share. Additionally, the government has set aside 25,000 extra shares for eligible employees.
