Google was too anxious to launch ChatGPT rival before OpenAI, says ex-staffer
According to Thibault Sottiaux, a former engineer at Google DeepMind, the technology company possessed an in-house AI chatbot comparable to ChatGPT twelve months prior to OpenAI's release.
