Google creating AI agents to handle tasks of engineers assisting companies with AI adoption
According to a report by The Information, Google is working on AI agents designed to automate tasks typically performed by forward-deployed engineers (FDEs), who assist companies in integrating AI. These agents are capable of reviewing contracts, files, and various business documents to determine how different data points relate to one another. This initiative is taking place even as Google Cloud intends to recruit hundreds of new FDEs.
