Goldman family dispute puts NYC property giant at risk
Jane Goldman, the only woman in the U.S. to lead a real estate firm as a billionaire, is being sued by her nephew Steven and sister Amy. They claim that a contested appraisal has undervalued the company's assets by more than $500 million. The Goldman family, who hold the land under iconic New York City properties such as the Cartier Building, has been fighting for control of the massive Solil empire for 40 years.
