Golden Temple pilgrims asked to hide ID cards featuring CM Mann's photo
Visitors reaching the Golden Temple through the Punjab government's pilgrimage program were instructed to take off ID cards that featured Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's picture prior to stepping into the holy site. This directive arrived one day ahead of a Panthic assembly organized by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to address a video of Mann that allegedly caused sacrilege. Previously, the Akal Takht labeled the Chief Minister as a 'Guru dokhi' or someone against the Guru.
