Gadkari blames land acquisition issues for drainage gaps on Delhi-Dehradun Expressway

When questioned about the potholes that emerged on the ₹12,000-crore Delhi-Dehradun Expressway following the initial rains, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari explained that the drainage project could not be finished because farmers refused to provide the necessary land. He mentioned that the road surface was repaired once the issue was reported. The expressway was officially opened to the public on April 14 of this year.
