The Santacruz-Chembur Link Road (SCLR) in Mumbai is now completely functional following the opening of its last 1.40-km elevated section. The MMRDA stated that this new link between Vakola Junction and Bharat Nagar Road provides direct, two-way access connecting the Western Express Highway (WEH) and BKC. Drivers can now avoid traffic in areas like Kalanagar, Vakola, and Kalina, which could reduce commute times by as much as 35 minutes on major paths.
