Fuel shortage hits Russia; petrol and diesel found at only 28% of stations

Russia is facing an intensifying fuel shortage, with data from August 16 showing that petrol and diesel were stocked at just 28.1% of the country's gas stations, a significant drop from the 41% recorded the previous week. This scarcity is largely attributed to ongoing strikes by Ukrainian forces on Russian oil facilities. Reports indicate that by the beginning of July, every significant oil refinery across Russia had been hit at least once.
