FSSAI seizes and destroys 3.7 tonnes of expired baby food in Bengaluru

During a recent check at British Life Sciences in Bengaluru, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) confiscated 3.7 metric tonnes of infant food that had passed its expiry date, leading to legal action against the firm. Officials also discovered a large amount of mislabeled baby food at the site. British Life Sciences, which specializes in pediatric nutrition, is part of the British Biologicals group.
