RG Chandramogan, the man behind Hatsun Agro Product Ltd and Arun Icecreams, started his career earning just ₹65 a month at a timber yard in Viluppuram, Tamil Nadu. After relocating to Chennai in 1970, he started a small-scale ice cream venture, where he would frequently push the sales cart on his own. Despite leaving college early, he successfully grew Hatsun into the country's biggest private dairy firm, which is currently worth more than ₹20,000 crore.
