The founder of American fashion-tech company CaaStle has received a five-year prison sentence after being found guilty of swindling investors out of $300 million, which is approximately ₹2,800 crore. Christine Hunsicker’s legal team argued that a 30-pound mirror struck her head, resulting in memory issues and personality shifts that triggered her illegal actions. Evidence showed she had searched for terms like "bank fraud vs wire fraud severity" on Google.
