Former IPS officer and injured protestors petition Supreme Court to prohibit pellet guns
Former IPS officer Yashovardhan Azad has filed a petition in the Supreme Court alongside two individuals who claim they were hurt during the July 20 demonstration, requesting a total ban on the use of pellet guns. The legal plea calls for the removal of all metallic or semi-metallic projectiles from service. According to reports, an internal investigation confirmed that Rapid Action Force (RAF) members discharged pellet rounds while managing the protest.
