Former Deputy Mayor's son passes away after tree falls on him in Maharashtra
Rahul Ashok Patil, the 35-year-old son of a former deputy mayor of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC), has died following a coconut tree collapse during a heavy downpour in Thane, Maharashtra. According to officials, the tragedy took place as he was traveling on his motorcycle and the tree was uprooted, falling directly onto his bike. Patil passed away from his injuries after spending two days undergoing treatment at a hospital.
