A former IT manager at Deloitte has pleaded guilty to stealing more than 400 laptops from the firm's Hong Kong branch over a period of 17 months. The stolen equipment was valued at HK$1.2 million (approximately ₹1.4 crore). The individual, identified as Ho Man-kit, managed to generate HK$458,000 (about ₹55 lakh) by selling the devices to support his stock trading habit. He stated that he ultimately lost all the money he made through failed trades and is currently in debt.
