Former Badrinath Temple staffer held by SIT over donation embezzlement
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has taken Rajendra Chauhan, a retired worker from the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, into custody regarding the reported theft of donations at Badrinath Temple. This is the second person apprehended by the SIT, following the earlier arrest of a suspended committee staffer. According to police, CCTV footage captured Chauhan placing cash and various donation offerings into his pockets.
