Food safety raids: 81 kg of food seized in Mysuru, KFC storage unit shut in Mangaluru
Food safety authorities in Karnataka confiscated 81 kg of food products from three different Mysuru hotels. The haul included 9 kg of expired chicken found at Rio Meridian, 68 kg of meat at Grand Mercure, and 4 kg of mushrooms at Q Star. In a separate incident in Mangaluru, a KFC store's storage facility was locked down following reports of stale and foul-smelling chicken. Officials confirmed that samples have been forwarded to a lab for further analysis.
