Flash floods hit Kishtwar, J&K following cloudburst
A cloudburst occurred in the Chatroo region of Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday, leading to flash floods. The deluge brought mud, rocks, and debris into local markets and homes, washing away two vehicles and blocking movement on the Kishtwar-Chatroo-Sinthan National Highway. In response, officials have directed that schools remain closed across the Ramban, Doda, and Kishtwar districts.
