Flash flood leaves 3 hikers stranded on Grand Canyon ledge for 5 hours
A sudden flash flood in the Grand Canyon trapped three women on a rock ledge for approximately five hours while they were hiking. The group, consisting of sisters Jessica Buscher and Melanie McGuirk along with their friend Katie Brink, became separated during the incident and worried that the others had been carried away by the water. A helicopter eventually located the trio, and they were successfully rescued.
