Family of Mumbai crash victim claims accused is receiving luxury treatment in custody
The family of 34-year-old law graduate Priyanka Satra, who died in a Mumbai road accident, has accused 70-year-old real estate developer Krishna Chamankar of receiving "five-star treatment" while in police custody. Chamankar, who is facing charges for the crash that also left six people injured, is alleged to have been granted access to a phone and moved into an air-conditioned room. Notably, Chamankar was previously implicated in the Maharashtra Sadan scam, a case that also involved NCP politician Chhagan Bhujbal.
