FairSquare challenges FIFA over Infantino's re-election bid
The human rights organization FairSquare has called on FIFA to rule President Gianni Infantino unfit to run for another term, claiming he has already hit the three-term limit set by the organization's bylaws. Infantino has previously maintained that his initial term, which started in 2016 following the departure of Sepp Blatter, should not be included because it was a partial mandate. FairSquare has dismissed this reasoning, labeling it a violation of FIFA's regulations.
