Ethanol blending in petrol saved India ₹1.90 lakh crore in foreign exchange: Official
Ashwini Srivastava, Joint Secretary at the Department of Food & Public Distribution (DFPD), stated that the Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) initiative has allowed India to conserve more than ₹1.90 lakh crore in foreign exchange. He noted that reaching a 20% blending target has lessened the nation's reliance on imported crude oil.
