English-based goalkeeper selected as new monarch for Ugandan kingdom
George Desmond Kamurasi, a 36-year-old goalkeeper currently playing in the ninth tier of English football, has been named the next king of the Tooro Kingdom in Uganda. Kamurasi, who serves as captain for the London club SE Dons, reportedly secured the support of 15 out of the 18 members on the royal succession committee.
