Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has indicated that Egypt might soon be included in the defence bloc established by Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. Fidan described Egypt as a logical partner, noting that its entry could proceed once certain technical matters are settled. The current pact among the three nations mandates that any armed aggression against one member state will be considered an act of aggression against all of them.
