ED uncovers ₹600 crore in benami assets and cash during Jharkhand coal mafia raids
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has uncovered benami assets valued at ₹600 crore following raids on an alleged illegal coal mining operation in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. During the search operation, the agency seized over ₹1.02 crore in unexplained cash and froze ₹160 crore held in mutual fund investments. Additionally, officials recovered ownership papers for more than 200 pieces of immovable property.
